Apologies wero received from Mrs. Carthew and Mrs, Leith, who were to have given items, f Just before supper wus served Mr. j Roberts wished the happy couple every > success and happiness in tho future, saying that both had been members of the church for many years and that Miss Keast had been a member of the choir, .Sunday School teacher and pianist for some years. He then called upon the guests to accept many beautiful gifts for their future home, both - returning thanks for same. Mr. Glassey then proceeded to unwrap the parcels, Miss Keast reading cut the names of the donors. The usual “Jolly Good Fellows” was i sung and after supper was served all joined hands and sang “Auld Tang Hyne,” thus bringing a very pleasant evening to a close.
