Praise for Women’s Division of Farmers’ Union
ASSISTANCE GIVEN TO FLOCK HOUSE Speaking at the ceremony of formally handing over Flock House to the Government at Bulls yesterday a graceful tribute was paid to the Women's Divison of the Farmers’ Union by Mr T. R. Lees, Managing Trustee. He said: “Our work with the boys, in particular their aftercare, could not possibly have been carried out without the help of good friends all over N„ew Zealand. It is impossible to-day to mention by name all the individuals and bodies which have helped us, but I wish specially to refer to the most valuable asistance given to the trustees by the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union. lam certain that tho inestimable help of those ladies will be given as freely to the Government, and you cannot do without them." Applause.
