Cheltenham Tennis Club
A very pleasant time was spent at the Cheltenham tennis courts last week when the members of the club gave a linen afternoon for Miss Joyce Dunstan whose marriage to Mr Stan Marshall is soon to tako place. Though Miss Dunstan has for some while been away from the district she was at one time a very popular member of the club. At an opportune moment Mr E. Sinclair (president) asked the bride elect to accept tho many gifts proffered by her friends and with them tho best of good wishes for a happy and prosperous married life. Miss Dunstan in replying thanked the members very warmly for their useful and charming presents. In asking her acceptance from the club of a beautiful floating bowl as a token of love and appreciation Mr Sinclair referred to Miss Dunstan's activities and assistance whilst a member of the club and regretted that her marriage would take her away from the district.
