Of Local Interest
The steady increase in membership, and infallible sign of progress, was favourably commented upon at the Tuesday’s meeting of the Pahiatua A. and P. Aseociation. It was stressed that an A. and t 7. Association was of direet benefit to a district, and that it behoved the business people and the farmers to support it. No urging should be required, as by supporting their annual show they were indirectly helping themselves. No organisation was deserving of more whole-hearted support than an A. and P. Association, the reasons being too obvious for an explanation.
