Pahiatua District Ewes

During a visit through the Hinemoa V alley one of our representatives encountered on the road a mob of approximately 2000 sheep being driven by two drovers, and it was particularly noticeable that these sheep were out-standing in size and bone and were in great order generally. On making inquiries it was found that, these sheep were twotog th and five-year ewes secured for sale and sold by the New Zealand Farmers 7 Co-op. Distributing Co. The ewes were all bred in the Pori district, the sheep being annual drafts of the Pori settlers. The sheep were going into the Bangitikei district and are certainly a credit to Pahiatua.
