From Our Own Correspondent. Personal. Mr. P. Small has returned home aftei spending a fortnight in Wellington. Mrs. H. R. Green and her daughter Miss I. Green, of “Oakview,” have gon« on a holiday lo Auckland. Mrs. C. Turner lias gone for a holiday to Taranaki. Mr. E. Hall has gone for a holiday tc Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. P. D« Malmanche art spending a holiday with Mr. S. Jackson Air. and Airs. A. Roulston. of the Hutt spent the week-end with Mrs. Roulston’: parents, Air. and Mrs. K. Doherty. General. The manager of the Kalranga da in factory, Mr. S. Jackson, reports that th< output is 28 cheeses per day. The district is very busy haymakin* and grass-seeding and the rough weathei is making It very hard for the farmers t< aet their crops in. The winds are play- •»** bavoo with th» eardens.
