Aged Aorangi Settler
MAKES AIR JOURNEY TO CHRISTCHURCH.
On Monday last, Mr James McFarland, of Aorangi, who is 88 years of age, travelled from Palmerston North to Christchurch by air, and according to South Island advices, thoroughly enjoyed the journey which was his first experience of flying. Mr McFarland is visiting his sister in Christchurch and said that the trip was a grand experience. He intends to make the return trip by air towards the end of the present month.
