DEATH OF SIR HAMILTON GRANT. (British Official Wireless). Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. RUGBY, Jam 25. Sir Hamilton Grant, whoso death occurred iu London ou Saturday, aged 04, played an important part iu Indian border politics of the war ana post-war periods. He served as Foreign Secretary tp the Government of India from 1915 to 1919 and in the latter year negotiated the Rawalpindi Peace Treaty with Afghanistan. Thereafter until 1921 he served as Chief Commissioner to the North-west frontier provinces.
