Feilding Magistrate’s Court

SHORT SITTING YESTERDAY. A short sitting of the Feilding Magistrate’s Court was held yesterday before Mr R. M. Watson, S.M. Leonard William Shepherd, plumber, of Feilding, was fined 20s, with. 10s costs, for failing to give warning that he intended to turn the vehicle he was driving to the right. Defendant did not appear in Court, but a letter from him explainin the circumstances was read by His Worship. In the letter defendant said that he had used oth hands to negotiate the turn which he had made in order to pull up the vehicle in front of his employer’s premises.
