Feilding Municipal Band

OFF f ER FROM PALMERSTON NORTH. During the practice meeting of the Feilding Municipal Band held on Alonday evening, Mr E. A. Garlick, said that a communication had been received from the Palmerston North Garrison Band offering to give a concert in the Feilding band rotunda on Sunday evening next. The Palmerston North Band, whose attitude was much appreciated, was desirous of extending a courtesy visit to Feilding, feeling that such actions, besides being an attractive change, tend to promote interest in the town’s own band.

The matter is to be further discussed but it is expected that the offer will be accepted. The president, Mr T. Collins, who visited the practice room during the evening, found an attendance that was not entirely satisfactory, and in view of the band's immediate engagements a special request is to be made for a full muster at to-morrow night’s practice.
