Tho Norsewood cricket club defeated •.he Hatuma club in a game at Hatuma during the week-end. The victory was obtained by 31 runs on the first in- ; aings. Play wa*» marred by a heavy ;vind. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs John Wilson and the Misses Wilson at their home. Norsewood made 169 (Harris 56, Culli ford 31, Coovy 28, Barclay 12 and Passons 11). Chapman five for 30, Wyatt two for 47, C. Wilson one for 25, Knight two for 39. Hatuma made 138 (Wyatt 23, F. Cullane 23 not out. C. Wilson 22, Saxon L6 } Matthews 14, Knight 10). Harris 4, Barclay two for 26, Galloway two for 28, Bennett ono for 31.
