Terrace End Bowling Club

PROGRESSIVE PAIRS TOURNAMENT YESTERDAY.

A successful progressive pairs tournament was held by the Terrace End Bowling Club yesterday, and despite adverse weather conditions a most enjoyable time was spent. Seven games of nine heads were played. The skips’ contest was won by H. Snell, with five wins. For second place, P. Wills, W. J. Pearce, J. Davidson and C. Dixon were equal with four wins, aud a draw resulted in favour of Pearce. Tho leads’ section was won by A. Andrews, with six wins; J. Locke and D. Stewart, with four wins each, were second, Locke drawing successfully for tho trophy.
