Wednesday. At a meeting of shareholders m the company formed some time, ago for recovering, the gold fromthe wreck' of the General Grant at the Auckland Islands* it appeared that £2000 out of £25000 capital had been expended with no practical result, and a feeling was displayed m favor of winding up the company, Ultimately the accounts were referred to a. committee to report upon at a future date.
