TIMARU

Wednesday. A breach of promise case concluded this afternoon— Flora McKinnon y. Jno. London. The damages were laid at £2000 for breach of promise, and £1000 for seduction. Messrs Hammersley and Joynt appeared for plaintiff : Mr White and Mr Stout for defendant. The case lasted two days. The special jury returned m an hop and a half with a verdict for plaintiff on all the issues, damages £300. (PEE CITY OF SYDNET AT AUCKLAND.)
