Wright, of Waagapoua, -pleaded ignorance, and having done the act at the suggestion of another person, was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment. Wareham, of the Waste Lands Department, appeared to answer a charge of contempt of Court, m writing a letter to Justice Gillies concerning- the cjise of

a prisoner named Draper. Wareham pleaded ignorance. The Judge severely admonished and discharged him.
