NATIONAL PARTY
Tlio monthly meeting of the women’s branch of the National Party in Feeding was presided over by Mrs H. Brandt. As a mark of sympathy to members who had lost relatives in the air raids over London, the meeting observed a moment’s silence. It was reported that the shop day held for Red Cross funds had resulted in the raising Of £25 10s. The branch is to convict another shop day in October, the proceeds on this occasion to go to the patriotic fund. Members of the branch and supporters were requested to assist in the effort, and cakes in particular were required, a 6 these found a ready sale. The branch acknowledged the donations made in connection with the last shop day.
