BANK OFFICERS AT PLAY,
Altlicrugh tlio weather conditions left much to be desired, there was a Jargc muster of golfers at the Palmerston North Club’s links yesterday, when the Palmerston North bank officers held their annual golf tournament, The principal trophy was won by T. E. Rose, wittrN. J. Northover a close runner-up. The competitions resulted:-—Medal round (cup): T. E. Rose, 90—18—72; N. J. Northover, 96—23—73; L. J. Evans, 90—15 —75; A. E. J. Ashby, 95—20—75; T. B. Beale, 99 —24—75.
B grade medal.—T. B. Beale, 99—24 —75.
A grade bogey.—W. F. Drube, 4 down; H, S. Cantrell, A. E. J. Ashby, R. Blundell, H. J., Hendry, 5 down. Tho B grade bogey was' won by G. C Pees, the runner-up' being H. F. Dransficld. Fohrball bogey (Airs Morgan’s trophy).—N. J. Northover and A. Kenyon, 7 up; W. F. llrube and R. Blundell, 1 up.
