A RECIPE.
Wash -Jib dried haricot beans well and soak overnight, with enough cold water to cover. Cook until tender. Alelt 1 tablespoon butter, add 3 tablespoons fine breadcrumbs, 1 cup milk, "1 wellbeaten egg, salt and. pepper to taste. 2 teaspoons finely-chopped parsley, 2 tablespoons shredded bacon (fried). Mix all well together, place in a greased casserole and bake until well browned and set.
