MASSEY COLLEGE DANCE.
An enjoyable occasion was the final dance of the year held at Massey Agricultural College on Thursday night. It was preceded by the students’ annual dinner and there was a large attendance. Flags and greenery decorated the refectory, with effective lighting. Among those present were : Dr and Mrs C. Barnicoat (the latter wearing a floral cotton model), Dr. and Mrs J. Yates (midnight blue velvet), Dr. and Mrs P. McMahon (purple crepe and freesias), Dr. and Mrs R. Dolby (black satin), Mr and Mrs A. C. Yates (royal blue taffeta), Bombardier and Mrs Sandall (floral blue silk), Mr and Mrs G. A. Eliott (white skirt and black ninon blouse with orchids), Mr and Mrs F. Opie (dark green cloche with gold embroidery), Mr and Mrs J. Sutherland (shot blue taffeta), Mr and Mrs F. Copeland (leaf green ninon), Miss W. Williams (tartan taffeta), and Miss J. Swinburne (black taffeta)'. Messrs F. Jacques and J. C. Morton also attended.
