M. Webb, infant mistress at the Te Aro School, Wellington, has retired after 36-j years’ teaching service. Miss Webb started as a pupil teacher at the Clyde Quay School in April, 1904. She later taught in the Training College, Clyde Quay, Alaranui, Petone, Island Bay and Masterton schools. From 1921 to 1928 she was infant mistress in the Eastern Hutt School, and from that date till her retirement infant mistress at Te AroJ
