British seamen who were saved from the German prison ship Altmark by H.M.S. Cossack in a Norwegian fiorcl in February are to present to the destroyer a silver salver for the ward room and a bronze plaque to be fixed in the ship. Each hears the inscription: “Presented to H.M.S, Cossack by a number of British merchant seamen, as a token of gratitude for their rescue from the German ship Altmark.” The gifts are to be handed, to the Admiralty for safe keeping until tho end of tho war.
