KIA TOA CLUB

At the annual meeting of the Kia Toa Cricket. Club, last evening, Air Iv. Croll presided. The report anti balance-sheet were adopted and the election of officers resulted : Patron. Mr H. R. Crawford; president. Mr Croll; vicc-pres ; dents. eleven were elected; secretary. Mr .T. Evans; treasurer, Mr T. Kilpatrick: committee, Messrs W. Mitchell. A. Boldt, 15. Broughton. R. Matson, L. Mullins, NMcLean. R. Waslev. D. Wills; dub captain, Mr G. Archibald ; diib coach. Mr A. McVicar; auditor, Mr G. A. Brown; gear steward. Mr S. Smith; delegates to Manewntu Cricket Association. Messrs Mullins and Broughton. Several new nominations for active membership were accepted. Tt was resolved that the delegates he asked to make a recommendation to the association that one-day cricket matches be held this season owing to the probable frequency of players being unable to play on two consecutive Saturdays under the present war conditions.
