WON BY TOOGOOD

The semi-finals and final of the Hawke’s Bav golf championship were played at the Waiohiki links under ideal conditions and there was a big gallery for the principal matches. Toogood and Sinclair entered the final, the former eliminating the Manawatu representative, K. S. Glendinning, and Sinclair heating the Hastings champion title-holder, Longstaff. In the final Toogood beat Sinclair 4 and 2. The results are as under:— Championship.—Semi-final: E. S. Toogood beat K. S. Glendinning, 1-up; A. A. Sinclair beat H. &J. Longstaff, 4 and .1. Final: Toogood beat Sinclair, 4 and 2.
