SPRING. FLOWER SHOW.

The annual spring show and bazaar promoted by the Holy, Trinity Ladies’ Guild attracted large attendances to the Women a Institute Hall yesterday afternoon and evening. In the horticultural exhibition alone patrons were rewarded by witness*ing a floral collection-of great beauty: an outstanding achievement by the enterprising ladies who organised it. The tasteful staging was worthy of the general excellence of the whole exhibit, m which the decorative class., sprays and float howls drew spontaneous admiration. The champion bloom came from the narcissus section,' in which a perfect specimen exhibited by Mrs Turnbull won the challenge bowl presented by Mrs J. Swede The efficient conduct of the various stalls, competitions and activities which made up the show was well worthy of the strong support given. Paterson and Miss I J . Mules. Judges: Bulbs and cut flowers, Mr J. A. Nicholas; decorative, Mrs Pryde, senr. In addition, volunteer assistant's kept the competitions moving at a lively pace. The high merit of every phase of the enterprise fully accorded with capacity attendances at both sessions. THE PRIZE LIST.
