The proposal to form a women’s bowling acctivi cf the Takaro Bowling Club wifi be advanced a stage further on Saturday, when a ( meeting of women interested will he held in the club’s pavilion in Fcathcrston Street at 3 p.m. Bowls as a game for women have proved very popular in numerous other centres, and it is expected that there will be a large attendance to discuss the niattcr. All those interested will bo welcomed, and afternoon tea will be provided free of charge.
