The Board of Trade has placed the Bata Shoe Company, the famous Czechoslovak firm, cm tlie blacklist as being considered as trading with the enemy and, therefore, virtually an enemy company. Bata.ha's 140 subsidiary companies throughout the world, and all are affected except those in',- Great Britain (numbering six). and ' ill Allied countries and the United States.
