STRONGER THAN EVER

ROYAL AIR FORCE. AFTER TERRIFIC TEST.' REPLY TO NAZI CLAIMS. (United Press Association-—By Electric Teiegrapu—Copyright.) (British Official Wireless.) Received June 6, 9.40 a.m. RUGBY, June 5. It can be computed from the Air Ministry communiques issued during the period that the total of British aircraft lost in action since May 10 is 302—less than one-tenth of the total losses attributed to the Allies in the German claims.

Naturajly, no official figures of the output of the aircraft industry are available. It can be confidently stated, however, that the total strength of the R.A.F. is greater at the end of these' four weeks than it was at the beginning—four weeks, in the latter part of which over the Dunkirk beaches, it “engaged the main strength of the German air force and inflicted upon them losses of at least four to one,” to use the Premier’s words yesterday. „The ,Air Ministry announces: “During Tuesday night heavy bombers of the R.A.F. again . attacked military objectives in Germany. Oil refineries and oil fuel depots in the Ruhr and elsewhere' were subjected to intensive bombing attacks. One of our aircraft is missing. An aircraft of the Coastal Command returning from an offensive reconanissance over Scandinavia intercepted and shot down a Dornier flying boat.”-
