BRITISH FINANCES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 4. Income tax at £20,912,000 has yielded more than double the amount at the corresponding date in 1939. Tlie total ordinary revenue amounts to £133,057,096, against £104,917,148 a year ago. The total, expenditure, less self-balancing items, is £430,537,434, compared with £214,148,653 at. the corresponding date in 1939. The Exchequer returns-for tlie week ended June 1 show expenditure '£7l,088,000, and revenue “£9,541,000. The floating debt totalled £1,547,875,000, which is a net increase of £58,675,000 during the fiscal year. '
