GENEROUS OFFER. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, June 6. A telegram has been sent to Hon. W. Nash by the secretary of the Waikato Winter Show Association (Mr W. H. Paul) stating that Mr F. W. Burley, of Hamilton, lias offered £IOOO toward the purchase of the cheese exhibits at the Waikato Winter Show. The exhibits, • it is stated." are worth £I4OO. ■ Mr Burley desires that the cheese be shipped to England and that half be devoted to the Royal Navy and half to the British troops involved in the recent evacuation from Flanders. Mr Nash is asked to reply if this can be arranged.
