MANAWATU LADIES’ CLUB. Members of the Manawatu Ladies’ Golf' Club engaged in L.G.U. medal play and a points competition at Hokowhitu yesterday. The course was on the heavy side, and this was reflected in the scoring. The best cards were: Silver Medal. —Mrs C. Anderson, 90—16—74; Mrs D. V. Stewart, 92 — 13 —79 ; Miss S. Thomson, 97 —16 —81. Bronze Medal. —Mrs E. Scott, 114 — 31—83; Miss D. Haggitt, 116 —26 90; Mrs A.' V. Sutton, 118 —28 —90; Mrs A. E. Carrington, 129—36 —93; Mrs Keith Garner, 129—36—93. The above scores also qualified in the points competition. C grade (over 14 holes). —Mrs A. Rutledge, 110—36 —74; Miss B. Thomson, 110 —36 —74 ; Miss A. Cope, 109 — 30—79; Miss C.
