FATE OF DOMINIONS. CANBERRA, Mav. 14. The Premier- (Mr It. G. Menjsies), in a speech, emphasised the dangerous isolation in which India, Australia, and New Zealand would find themselves in the event or a catastrophe to the Allied armies in North.--We.jt Europe. "Our independence would not be worth a moment's purchase if it were not that. our first and greatest frontier —the frontier of the sea—is guarded for us by the naval might of Britain," he said. Mr Menzies promised that the Government would not tolerate "fifth column" activity Ln Australia and said: "We ar-e dealing with the problem of the enemy within our gates."
