RED CROSS LECTURES.
A great opportunity for men who are not at present directly serving their country at present offers itself. The Palmerston North - branch of the Now ■ Zealand Red Cross Society is shortly to commence lectures for men, and every man able to spare tho time should avail himself of the opportunity to assimilate some knowledge which would enable him to rope with any emergency that might arise- from (lie chaotic conditions in the world to-day. First aid, home nursing, hygiene, and sanitation, all come into the scope of the society's activities. Enrolment of new members will fake place to-morrow at 8 p.m. as advertised.
