A RECIPE.
Mix together 2 cups breadcrumbs, £ cup flour, salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon fine-]y-c.hopped parsley, 1 tablespoon each cooked ,carrots (minced), cooked and chopped celery, and grated onion. Add sufficient hotmilk'(not.-boiling, a 6 this would make the cakes sticky). Now add the yolk, of two eggs. Beat the whites of 2 eggs stiffly and fold into the mix-, tore. Cook on a hot,- 1 greased pan or greased girdle. Serve piping;hot with grilled bacon.
