MANAWATU COMPETITIONS. FURTHER AWARDS. The keen interest' which lias been evinced in the Manawatu Competitions Society’s seventeenth annual festival was well maintained last evening, when there was again a good attendance at the Opera House despite the wet weather. As on the previous evening there was a wide variety of performances, most of them displaying marked talent, and the audience was not slow to show its appreciation.
