. SUPREAIE COURT ACTION. In the Supreme Court, this -week, before the Chief Justice, Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Myers, an action was brought by Harry Hartnell .Emmerson, farm manager, of Taihape, under the Family Protection Act, 1908, seeking provision from tlie estate of the late Thomas, Emmerson, late of Dannovirke, labourer, plaintiff being an adopted son of deceased. The Public Trustee, as executor of the estate, .was represented by Air G. H. Lusk. Air A. Al. Onglcy appeared for plaintiff, Air E. Qibbard (Dahnevirke) for Airs Elizabeth Amelia Graham (Daimevirlce), a legatee, and Elizabeth Amelia Sarah Graham and Edgar Trevor Graham (also of Dannovirke). both minors and legatees. Air T. G. Nelson (Dannevirke) appeared for Ered Emmerson (Durham, England) a residuary legatee. Plaintiff was left nothing under deceased’s will.
