RUGBY FOOTBALLER ENLISTS
In view of his departure yesterday for Trentham, Avliere he Avill join the non-commissioned officers’ training class for the Third Echelon, Mr Jack Finlay, the AVell-knoAvn Rugby footballer, Avas met by tho management and staff of Messrs Levin and Co. and presented ivith a Avrist watch as a token of esteem and good wishes. Mr A. J. Kellow made the presentation and paid a tribute to the Ayork done by Mr Finlay as a member of the staff. Mr J. L. Pilling supported Mr Kelloav’s remarks, and Avished the recipient success. Members of the Feilding Old Boys Football Club also expressed their good AA’ishes at a function and presented Air Finlay Avith a shaving companion. Air Finlay’s many friends combined to give him a send-off ill the Drill Hall this iveek. Harriers.
