FOXTON BEACH.

Mr M. E. Pcrrcau presided at the meeting of the Foxton Beach Improvement Society, whpn Mr E. R. B. Holbcn, on behalf of the Manawatu Auiomohile Asscoiation, presented a report and plans of the proposed improvements to the camping grounds. The plans -wore approved and Jt was decided to forward them to the Harbour Board for consideration at its meeting. An application for the use of the hall by the Methodist Church was granted free of charge. The -commencement of work \on the sand-break near the port light was. reported, • the breaks erected previously having been entirely covered by drifting sand. The resignation of Mr F. W. Piillyn from the committee was received with regret.
