(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, May 4. For April the vital statistics were: Births 17, deaths 3, marriages 1. ... The rainfall for April was 1.96in.‘ There were eight frosts. Mr A. Mauz, who has joined the Air Force, was entertained by the staff and children of the school and presented with a set of military brushes, a hold-all, moneybelt and cigarettes. - At the meeting of the School Committee it was stated that dental work would start on the 20th of this month. Messrs Atmore, Nicolson, and Taylor were appointed to convene a meeting in connection, with the proposed jubilee.
