HIGHWAY ACCIDENTS.
CAR PASSENGERS INJURED. 'As the result of a motor accideut near Mount Stewart on Saturday, Mr H. Bevan was admitted to hospital with slight injuries to-the head. He was seated beside .the driver (Mr C. F. Hodder; of lvakatahi) when a front tyre blew out and the car struck a post and skidded for about 30 yards. Mr Bevan struck his head oil the windshield. It was reported by the Hospital authorities to-day that the condition of Mr A; Gulbransen. of Sanson, who was admitted following a motor accident on Saturday, between ■ Awaliuri, and Mount Stewart; is serious. Mrs Gulbransen, who was also admitted, has been discharged. ' Their young son, Keith Gulbransen, was reported to be comfortable. Mr J. Beattie, also of Sanson, who was admitted as a result of the same accident, spent a lair night. ,
