GOOD PRICES IN LONDON. Received May 3, 10.40 a.m. LONDON, May 2. A shipment of New Zealand Cox’* apples has made history, being the first" marketed in London under the New Zealand Government’s marketing scheme. They brought top prices on Monday of 17s to 19s 6d a case end yesterday, los Gd to 18s 9d. Mr Harry Turner, London manager of fruit sales lor the New Zealand Marketing Department, said that both the first shipment and the second, which was being unloaded, arrived in pleasing condition considering the wartime difficulties. The market was ea?er for further supplies, which are believed to bo coming forward satisfactorily.
