JAPAN DETERMINED. INDEPENDENT ACTION. PROBLEMS IN FUTURE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright.) Received May 3, 11.10 a.m. TOKYO, May 2. The Premier (Admiral Yonai) has reaffirmed Japan’s noninvolvement in the European war. He said Japan is determined to act independently to cope with developments arising from the war or the general international situation. Admiral Yonai added that many difficulties at home. and abroad would be eneounted before Japan would obtain her objectives which necessitated the lengthy maintenance of general mobilisation.
