(From Our Own Correspondent.) AWAHURI, May 2. At the annual meeting of the Ping Pong Club Mr J. c. Christian presided. A report of the past year’s activities and the balance-sheet wer© given by the secretary (Mrs A. 11. Goodman). It was. felt that the success of the club was largely due to Mr 11. Matthews, the Te Arakura Club, and Mr Ivan Bond, Awahuri Women’s Institute, Mr J. C. Christian, Mr A. Goodman and others, who had given assistance. Mr J. C. Christian was reelected chairman and Mrs A, 11. Goodman, secretary and treasurer. The committee is: Mrs J. c. Christian, Mieses Y. Bennett and Hume Messrs A. Goodman, J. Nicholson. A. and K. Matthews, J. M. Christian, W. Cleaver, it. Gouldon and T. Rowlands. It was decided to continue evenings along similar lines to last season.
