FARMERS’ UNION.
LEVIN BRANCH. Mr C. E. C. Webb presided at the annual meeting of the Levin branch of the Farmers’ Union. The report, which was adopted, dealt with the general activities of the branch throughout the year. The election of officers resulted:—President, Mr C. E. C. Webb (re-elected) ; vice-presi-dents, Messrs H. Denton, J. J. Gallagher, W. E. Kilsby, Harold J. Lancaster (re-elected), and W. L. Bradfield; delegates, Messrs C. E. C. Webb, H. Sorensen and W. L. Bradfield' (re-elected) ; committee, the president, vice-presidents and delegates; secretary, Mr J. A. Goodwin (reelected) . It was decided to ask the district veterinary officer, Mr P. McGregor, to give a short address at a later meeting.
