WILL BE DEFENDED. Deceived Mav 2. 12.5 pun. STOCKHOLM, May 1. The Premier (M. Hansson), in a, speech, said: “Sweden is determined to assert and defend her neutrality by all the means in her power. This neutrality implies that we demand that our independence and freedom he left unmolested. We know the belligerents’ assurances are made not only upon goodwill, hut also in the consciousness of our unyielding determination and ability to defend our neutrality and integrity.” An earlier report stated: Five German bombers, nothward bound, flew over Swedish territory, but they turned back ‘to Norway when anti-aircraft guns went into action. A decree bars foreigners from further districts in Sweden.
