POST-WAR ORGANISATION. . WASHINGTON, April 29. M. Van Zeeland, former Prime Minister of Belgium, in a speech, said United States business men might have a decisive role in the post-war reorganisation of world economy on an international basis. The Senate lias passed and sent to the House a Bill permitting the freezing of property held in the United States by citizens of nations conquered by belligerents in the European war, despite Republican contentions' that this dangerously ’empowers'' the -'President to control private bank accounts. The Prime Minister of Canada (Mr Mackenzie King) conferred with President Roosevelt, and the Secretary of State (Mr Hull). No one would comment on the conference after its conclusion.
