Firemen clothed in asbestos suits boarded the smouldering Norwegian tanker Willy in the harbour at Charleston (South Carolina) and expressed the opinion that the waterfdled compartments between the engineroom and the oil. tanks would, prevent an exnlosion. (ft was reported yesterday that the cargo included 8000 tons of aviation petrol for Glasgow.)
