• At the biennial meeting of householders it was decided to place oil record appreciation .of* the continued interest taken in school. affairs by Mr S; Turnbull, who _ had , been voted to the chair. Eulogistic references tb. Mr Turnbull’s services as a former member and chairman of - the committee were made by the mover and sebonctcr of the resolution, Messrs E J 7 Hardmg and R. R. Johnston, Air ‘ Turnbull suitably replying. Wiekes, president of the \\ oodville R.S.A., is visiting /Wellington as the branch’s delegate to the Dominion conference of the Returned bolale^s , Association, which is being held in the Conference Hall at the Centennial Exhibition. Mr and Mrs S. L. Fannin, of Alatamata. former residents of Woodville, revisited the town last week when they- were the guests- of Mr and Airs J. Bryson.
