PRICE FOR 1941 FIXED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. The Government has decided to fix tbc price of wheat for the 1941 harvest at 5s 9d f.o it. the grower’s nearest port for Tuscan on the March basis, announced the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Hon. D. G. Sullivan) to-day. He wished specially to thank the growers who had responded to his apneal after the outbreak of the war. He had been greatly cheered by the receipt of many personal letters from wheatgrowers advising him of their intention to increase their sowings this year.
