BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION
Airs AY. A. Sandilands presided at • lie annual mooting of the Feilding Basketball Association. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs Sandilands; vice-presidents, Mesdames •1. Knight, Anderson and Sporle; secretary and treasurer, Aliss N. AVillia.nison; executive committee, Airs Sparrow. Alisses D. Burgess, B. Rosonoski, P. Graham. O. Sporle, and Air G. Gaskin ; selection committee. Alisses N. AA'illinmson, D. Burgess and Air G. Gaskin. It was stated that a large number of teams were expected to participate in tho association’s competition?, this year and tho meeting decided that they would take steps to become affiliated with the Alanawatu branch of the New Zealand Basketball Association. The subscription was discussed and it was decided to raise the fee for senior teams.
