PERSONAL.

The death of Archdeacon A. S. Innes Jones, which occurred at Blenheim on Thursday, will cause a feeling of regret amongst members of St. John’s Anglican Parish in Feilding and other residents of the town and district. For 27 .rears Archdeacon Lines Jones was the vicar of the parish. AVhen he was permanently appointed in 1593 the parish included the present parochial district of Kiwitea. During his incumbonev tho town and district and the church made great progress and became an important part of tho Wellington. Diocese. He left Feilding 20 years ago, having exchanged charges with Aon Archdeacon F. Jl. Petrie, who was then vicar of Roscncath, AVellington. Shortly after his taking charge of Roseneath his wife passed away after a. long illness. There were nine children in tho family, of whom six remain, the others havingdied while in Feilding. The surviving children are .Mosers Alorvyn, Solwyn, and Arissc-s Kathleen, Gladys, Beryl and Ruth .limes Jones.
